REGISTRATION CLOSED – Conference at Capacity

The organisers of the 39th LAWASIA Conference 2026 wish to advise that conference has now reached capacity, and conference registrations are now CLOSED.

 

Confirmed conference speakers, moderators, and LAWASIA Executive Committee and Council members may still complete their registration by selecting the relevant registration category.

 

If you wish to be placed on the waiting list, please contact the LAWASIA Events Team at lawasia2026@lawasia.asn.au, with a copy to the LAWASIA Secretariat at lawasia@lawasia.asn.au. While places cannot be guaranteed, all requests will be considered should additional capacity become available.

 

Please note that only applicants who are able to be offered a place will be contacted. If you do not hear from us, unfortunately your request cannot be accommodated.

Below are the LAWASIA conference registration categories. All member registration categories are available only to individual LAWASIA members for the 2026-2027 financial year.

Non-members may join or renew their LAWASIA membership prior to registering for the conference, to avail of discounted member rates. Join or renew your LAWASIA Membership.

SPECIAL OFFER

Opening Ceremony & Welcome Reception Attendance

Available to the first 100 registrants.

This is a special registration category available exclusively to local South Korean residents. It provides access only to the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception on Monday, 14 September only, but does NOT include attendance for Day 2 or Day 3 of the conference (Tuesday, 15 September and Wednesday, 16 September).

Young Lawyer

AUD 1,495

Legal practitioners (including barristers) in their first five years of practice or 35 years of age or under as at the date of the conference,

or recent law graduates.

In-house Lawyer

AUD 1,495

The special registration rate is available to the first 10 local registrants.


EARLY BIRD OFFER

Take advantage of our Early Bird Offer by registering on or before Friday, 3 July 2026.

This limited-time rate allows you to secure your place at the conference at a reduced fee. Registrations received after this date will be subject to standard pricing. We encourage you to book early to maximise savings and guarantee your participation.

ACCOMPANYING GUEST

Cost: AUD 195 per person

An accompanying guest is an individual (non-legal professional) accompanying a delegate to the event social functions only. Accompanying tickets are not for individuals who would otherwise need to pay for a full registration. A work colleague cannot be an accompanying guest and must complete their own full conference registration.

The registration fee for an accompanying person includes the cost of attending the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception (Monday, 14 September 2026).

Kindly note, the Accompanying Guest is NOT permitted to attend working sessions and the fee does NOT include attendance at the general delegate lunches provided for registered conference attendees. (Tuesday 15 September & Wednesday, 16 September 2026).

Travel, accommodation and social activities are NOT included in the registration fee.

Language:

All working sessions and conference materials will be provided in English.

Delegate List:

In order for your name, position, organisation and jurisdiction to appear on the delegate list, which will be distributed to delegates, your registration form must be received no later than Tuesday, 1 September 2026
